“suspended indefinitely” seriously?
if you've watched soccer for any length of time you know this is not great sportsmanship but nowhere near as bad as it can get.
Very girly/emotional decision from the officials, banning her like that.
Sports Buzz New Mexico Lobos women's soccer player Elizabeth Lambert has been suspended for hair-pulling after video surfaced of her grabbing BYU's Kassidy Shumway by the ponytail and slamming her to the ground during a game. UNM's Elizabeth Lambert, who also elbowed a BYU player in the back during the game, said “that's just the kind of soccer player I am,” which may be one of the worst excuses of all time. Anyway, the video is awesome.

As someone who played very competitive soccer for 18 years, this story is pretty incredible. I'm annoyed, however, at the Buzzfeed postings. The initial one said “BYU Girls Soccer Team is Scary!” It's New Mexico State, guys. As far as this follow-up, check out the article from the dailylobo.com. It points out that the player is suspended indefinitely, which is missing from this headline and important. Make no mistake about it, I don't think she should ever be allowed to play soccer in a league again. Another misprint in the information above is this: the accurate quote from Elizabeth Lambert is “This is in no way indicative of my character or the soccer player that I am.” I can't say that I agree with her statement, but please don't stoop to taking sound bites.
