Seems you managed to leave out 31 other “Czars” appointed by “MacDaddy”. Do yourself a favor and stick to pandas, squirrels, penguins and kanye.

The real point of contention about these “Czars” (and I can’t stand Glenn Beck, so I don’t watch his show and I don’t know or care what he says about them) is that they are unelected, largely unaccountable, and unscrutinized public officials in positions of considerable authority. They don’t directly make policy, but they report to the President who, in turn, takes their advice in forming his own policy and directing his cabinet. There is a very good argument to be made for the lack of constitutional authority for the creation of such positions in the Executive branch. And yes, previous administrations had Czars also, and I didn’t like it any more then. But, like with spending, the prevalence of the Czars has exploded with the Obama administration. I know most people here probably agree with the proposition of a “Green Jobs Czar,” a “Regulations Czar,” or a “Diversity Czar.” But would you not be raising hell if George W. Bush had appointed comparable crazies to ideologically-driven positions? Marriage Czar James Dobson? Faith-based Education Czar (I know he’s dead, but this is a hypothetical) Jerry Falwell? That’s scary shit.
