SPORTS BUZZ: New Mexico Lobos women's soccer player Elizabeth Lambert has been suspended for hair-pulling after video surfaced of her grabbing BYU's Kassidy Shumway by the ponytail and slamming her to the ground during a game. UNM's Elizabeth Lambert, who also elbowed a BYU player in the back during the game, said “that's just the kind of soccer player I am,” which may be one of the worst excuses of all time. Anyway, the video is awesome.

CULTURE BUZZ: Jason Rodriguez, of Orlando, Florida, has been arrested at his mother's house after opening fire at the engineering firm where he used to work, killing one person and injuring five others. There's video of Jason Rodriguez speaking to the media after his arrest, saying “They left me to rot.” What's with all the spree killings this week, America?

CELEBRITY BUZZ: Rachel Christie (Miss England) is being questioned by authorities after punching Miss Manchester, Sara Beverley Jones, in the face at a porn-themed club night in Manchester. Rachel Christie was dressed as an angel and Sara Beverly Jones as a cavegirl, which makes this all so much more awesome. The fight was apparently over a naughty text message sent to Jones, by Christie's boyfriend, Tornado (not kidding). I want to see the mug shot pictures so bad.

CULTURE BUZZ: Kim Munley is the Texas police officer who shot the Fort Hood gunman, Major Nidal Hasan, to end his killing spree that left 13 victims dead at Fort Hood. Sergeant Munley was the first armed officer on the scene, and she managed to hit Hasan four times, though she was shot in the process, injuring both of her legs. Kimberly Munley is currently in stable condition, and can expect a hero's welcome when she recovers.

CELEBRITY BUZZ: Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr. showed up at the E! Entertainment Television headquarters on Friday to see Ryan Seacrest. He was carrying a knife (which is totally against the conditions of the restraining order). Uzomah, a former army reservist who has been involved in Ryan Seacrest-stalking incidents in the past, faces felony charges. Which, fair enough. But Ryan Seacrest, dude? What could possibly be interesting about Ryan Seacrest? Baffling.

CULTURE BUZZ: Susan Elizabeth Baker is a babysitter from Florida who has just been found with a missing child hidden under her bed. Shannon Dedrick, a 7-month-old who had been missing for 5 days, was discovered hidden in a box in Susan Baker's bedroom. Baker was also involved in a missing child case 10 years ago after 3-year-old Paul Leonard Baker disappeared from the family's home. Worst. Babysitter. Ever.
