After a full semester of a class where he changed his gender pronouns of his poetry, Steven Boyle decided it was time to come clean with his classmates. He didn’t just want to stand up one day and yell “HEY GUYS, I’M GAY,” so he crafted a cleverly worded poem to present at his first public reading.
By bringing in crowd participation and using language that is real and uncensored, Steven stunned his classmates and came out of the closet in the most creative way possible. Watch the video of his spoken word poetry below!
