I think that’s one of the major flaws with Pretty Little Liars as a show in its entirety; if you look at shows like House of Cards, Hannibal, etc, they have a clear cut idea of how everything will play out. With PLL they never had, clear from the start, A is this person, and we’ll trick people with x, y and z. Every season they’re just drawing plot ideas from a bag, so things don’t always add up the way they should. By this point it’s just gotten far too dramatic. In the beginning when I felt there was some conclusion a long ways a way I was willing to accept some of those moments, but now? If the writers haven’t picked who A is this far along whoever they do chose as A will not make nearly as much sense as it should, and from what I’ve gathered they’ve completely lost the spirit of their source material, the books. They should’ve always had a plan who A was, and play around with everything else in a calculated thought out way until they were ready to reveal that.
