The Empire actress took keeping it real to another level and went wigless, rocking her natural hair—in cornrows!

Taraji P. Henson a avoué au magazine qu'elle était censée porter une perruque, mais, après que le photographe Bruce Weber ait vu sont style protecteur, il a insisté: «On va le faire avec tes cheveux comme ça, c'est magnifique.»

Henson reveals to the magazine that she was actually supposed to wear a wig, but after photographer Bruce Weber saw her protective style, he insisted, "'We’ll shoot your hair just like that, it’s beautiful.'"

"As an actress that's what we do. We are vulnerable every time we put our art out there," she told the magazine. "Underneath that hair is my soul, and it's me, it's mine."
