Things That Happen On Thanksgiving When You Love Food

    "Can we EAT yet?"

It's Thanksgiving, a time for family, friends, and giving thanks...JK it's all about the food, amirite?!

And you start your day off with the most important question: "Where is THE FOOD?"

Thankfully, someone will eventually take pity and give you a pre-dinner "snack."

And you're already super excited about eating the leftovers, even though you haven't had the dinner yet.

Figuring out which pants are the stretchiest to wear for this meal has become something of a life skill.

And while the people around you are catching up and talking about their lives, all you can talk about is the food.

So you offer to help cook and setup so you can secretly sneak bites before the main event.

When the food is served, you're the first in line and you have a GAME PLAN of what you're putting on your plate.

Even though you know this is just the first OF MANY plates.

When you notice one of the sides is running low, you make a mad dash to get whatever's left of it.

And your drunk uncle will try to tell you to "slow down!"

To which you'll respond: "I'm still hungry."

No matter how much you eat, Thanksgiving dinner just goes by too quickly.

So to ease the pain, your next question is: "How many pies do we have for dessert?"

If there's a type of pie you wanted, but it's not there, you'll just have to eat more to make up for it.

And at the end of the meal your family complains about eating too much when all you can think is, "Is it too soon to start eating leftovers?"
