Filipinos Love Dr. Pepper

At least according to Filipino stand-up comedian Jo Koy. When asked why Filipinos love Dr. Pepper so much, he replied: "Dude! I’m going to take a picture of my fridge right now! There’s Dr. Pepper in there! I don’t know man! It’s so damn funny! My sister is a Dr. Pepper fanatic, like she will go crazy if she comes in the house and there’s no Dr. Pepper. She’ll get mad. She’ll even call me, ‘I’m an hour away, is there any Dr. Pepper or do I need to stop by Ralphs?’ It’s so pathetic." Catch Koy regularly on The Tonight Show and as a panelist on E’s late night talk show, Chelsea Lately.

As seen in the animation below, the trajectory of asteroid 2005 YU55 will clearly miss Earth, coming within around 200k miles, or a 0.85 the distance from the moon to our planet. (hopefully!)

San Diego Zoo Hand-Feeds Baby Wallaby Back to Life

This Parma Wallaby baby appears to have fallen out of its mothers pouch at the San Diego Zoo, and was discovered alive but cold and malnourished by Zoo keepers. Given the name Trinka, the wallaby was just 51 grams (1.8 ounces) when found but has since grown into a young adult. Still small, she still requires hand feeding (four bottles a day) and has been given a specially-designed ‘pouch,’ as seen in the video above, to feel at home and for sleeping. This is both the smallest and youngest marsupial the Zoo has successfully been able to hand raise. From SanDiego.com
