How could you leave out the TV version of the Red Wedding? While the book is shocking, the show is much more graphic. In the book, his wife is not pregnant or even there for the massacre. Plus, the line in the book is “Jaime Lannister sends his regards.” It’s a good change; otherwise, half the audience turns on Jaime. Only bad part was how they did the death of Grey Wind. He took out a few Freys in the book. He didn’t go out like a whimpering pup.
They complain that they don’t want a porn star with glasses when what they want is…a porn star with glasses. Sad and pathetic, and this is coming from Lt. Nerd.
Spoiler alert: Until you smother him with a pillow.
Apparently, all victims of domestic violence have black left eyes, bloody noses, and a busted lip.
You put Chicago and Shakespeare in Love higher than anything? This list is automatically invalid.
It wouldn’t make sense for them to end up together. Harry already had the fame, the money, the skills, etc. It wouldn’t have been fair for him to get the girl, too. Ron deserved something.
Excuse me while I get the taste of vomit out of my mouth.
This further goes to prove my point: Germans love David Hasselhoff.
Everybody complaining about Crabtree shoving Sherman out of his face needs to go back and watch the tape. Sherman smacked his ass on his way over, then got in Crabtree’s face before he got shoved out of it. You can argue he was going to say “good game,” but that’s not how you do it. Classlessness on both ends.
Except that I don’t hate Peyton Manning with every fiber of my being.
I’m with A&E on this one. For me, he went over the line when he compared being gay with bestiality. This is not a freedom of speech issue. You have the right and freedom to go tell your boss to kiss your ass, and the government cannot stop you. However, your boss then has the right to fire you on the spot. That’s what happened here. If A&E is so anti-Christian as so many people claim, they would not have let the show on in the first place or used the family’s religion as a marketing tool. Notice, too, the perceived dig was only at gay men. He couldn’t understand two men together, but nobody ever seems to have a problem with two women together. If he had said that he personally disagreed with homosexuality because of his religious convictions, I guarantee nothing would have come of it. There was a more tactful way to answer the question, and he didn’t take it.
Have you ever read any of these comics? Jean gave him the go ahead to be with Emma after she died (again), he killed Charles under the influence of the Phoenix Force, and for the last few years, he’s been leading the remaining X-Men against the Avengers. Not to mention, how would you like it if you were the team leader and “the chosen one,” but everybody loves the hairy douche with claws? I rest my case.
The fact that Love and Monsters is ranked anywhere above last place kinda negates the validity of this list. I thought it was just generally accepted across the fandom that it was the worst.
Is there a reason Arya Stark isn’t on here?
The United States has already made itself the world’s Tom Joad, so now we have two choices: defend the civilians, which will require use of our military, kill more people, and piss the rest of the world off, or leave them alone, come across as hypocrites, Syrians will continue to die, and the rest of the world is pissed off. America: we have made our bed, and now we must lie in it.
Frank Wycheck was not a halfback. He was a tight end.
This story is the fail. The ump followed the catcher because they were still talking, just like they usually do, and then ejected him. This is not a travesty. He blew the no-hitter anyway. Whoever made this needs to actually watch a baseball game once in a while.
I will be sure to avoid all of these books and their movies.
In spite of the fact that Montreal already has a team.
Yes, because no candidate has ever changed his position or failed to keep his promises once in office before. Only one president has ever done everything he promised to do, so unless Polk is back in office, STFU and quit acting so surprised and outraged.
The fact that some people didn’t think the government wasn’t spying on us surprises me. The name NSA screams “Big Brother,” but the organization is over 60 years old and now people are pissed off. We have to remember that members of both political parties have openly supported these measures, so pointing fingers at one or the other is useless. A lot of people thought that Obama was going to change the game, and while he’s not a terrible president (there have been far worse, trust me), he’s become nothing more than another gear in the system. George Washington warned against the formation of political parties, we didn’t listen, and look where we are now.
