I read about the joys of going down with the ship when your retail store goes out of business in the book “Pretending You Care”—which was also my staff pick at one time whilst still employed by Borders—but 4 years was too much. I gave the company 6 months to last after I quit, I'm impressed they lasted a year and a half. Like I said, I'm sad I can't participate as it looks fun but quitting was the best thing I ever did. Guess I'll just have to go laugh at my boss and tell her all about my Kindle and my non-retail job that pays sooo much more :P
