What To Buy From The Prabal Gurung For Target Line

I tried on the entire collection so you wouldn’t have to! Admit it, you’re also a little collab crazed.

When the Prabal Gurung for Target collection launches Sunday, Feb. 10, in stores and online, people will probably be practically killing each other to get the pieces they want. So you’ll want to…target certain items to ease your stress going into the launch. I examined every item in the line to assess which is the best value, quality, and fit.

3. This Sweatshirt

If you want to invest in a top, go with the sweatshirt with the bright, adorable floral print. It’s nicely lined on the inside (one of the best pieces in terms of quality) and is fitted through the body so you won’t appear boxy; $29.99.

4. These Shorts

Instead of jorts this spring, try these, which also come in a fantastic print and a nice, lightweight fabric. They’re a little bit shorter than I thought but not Nasty Gal short; $26.99.

Size Meter: Go up a size.

5. This Dress

The full-skirt dress in a floral-crush print is made with great-quality fabric and looks pretty even just on the hanger. The skirt is not so full you’ll feel ridiculous, and it comes with a detachable belt. The thick fabric makes me think it won’t fall apart quickly; $49.99.

6. This Look

If you prefer separates to a dress, consider this top-and-skirt pairing. The white silk tank is actually attached to the lace overlay. The skirt is not too voluminous, and it comes with pretty pleating. Again, these two pieces are made with really quality fabric; $29.99 each.

Size Meter: Go down a size on the top and up a size in the skirt.

7. These Lace-Up Pumps

These shoes are surprisingly comfortable — the heel isn’t super-tall, so they don’t hurt. The leather also looks gorgeous as does the dark floral-print detailing; $39.99.

Size Meter: True to size.
