It's expected that when venturing into the annals of the internet you'll run into the occasional mistake (and the just as frequent but usually shorter-lived Wikipedia trolls), but IMDB user frankenbastard added this gem 3 years ago.

Ian Howe is a Stanford University professor whose Filipino fiance has recently died in a blimp accident. He is a friend to Ben Gates, and can often be found at the racquetball court donning a houndstooth poncho, which is his signature ensemble throughout the story. There is something lurking beneath, as well. Perhaps his past as a fishmonger is coming back to haunt him, or maybe he is simply having an allergic reaction to the countless pills he is ceaselessly eating for his "son-of-a-bitchin' hernia." Also he can vomit fire at people.
