Selfies Of iPad Thief Delight Original Owner And Rest Of Internet
The owner of a missing iPad has been posting amazing selfies of the tablet’s new owner.
1. Meet Allen Engstrom of North Little Rock, Arkansas. He left his iPad on a plane during a flight from Phoenix to Denver and was unable to recover the tablet after he discovered it was missing.
2. A month later, Engstrom and his family were surprised when a stranger’s self-portraits began appearing on their Apple devices. “After a while we figured out what was going on,” Engstrom told KTHV News. “That’s the person that has my iPad.”

3. Photos of this mysterious woman, whom Engstrom refers to as “Ugly McCrazy Shirt,” continue to appear in the family’s photo stream thanks to Apple’s iCloud service, which allows users to wirelessly sync data across multiple devices.
4. “The wonderful person who snaked my iPad continues to take glamour shots of herself apparently unaware that they are backing up to my iPhone,” he wrote on Facebook. “So naturally I’m blasting them out to the entire world. Enjoy!”
5. Engstrom says that the iPad has his name and contact information etched onto its back, so whoever has the tablet knows that it’s not theirs.
6. “I have no problem with putting it on Facebook, because hey, it’s fun for me and it’s apparently fun for a lot of other people and there’s always the chance that someone will say, ‘Hey, I know who that is.’ And I want my iPad back.”

KamKam a week agoThe fact that a month passed before the pictures started showing up leads me to believe that she didn’t steal it. Most likely she bought it off someone who stole it. Even if his name and info is etched on the back there’s nothing stopping the seller from saying something like “Yeah I had my info etched on the back but I’m selling it because I don’t want it anymore.” Back when I was looking to buy an iPad I checked Craigslist but quickly decided against buying from there because the iPads sold were suspiciously cheap. I felt like the risk of inadvertently buying a stolen ipad was too high.

fabianas 2 months agoI don’t see the point of putting here a picture of his “beautiful and peaceful-looking” white family. This is between the owner and the alleged thief. Maybe is it to show that “white, perfect individuals” don’t deserve the attack from a “black low life”?
And I don’t believe in this case you can buy the product of the theft without knowing it. -

lissaa 2 months agoShe knows she didn’t buy it. She knows there’s someone else’s name on it (either in the user info, the data on it, or if she looked at the back - which is probable). So if she didn’t buy it, she has a moral obligation to try to find the owner. It was on a plane. Pretty easy to trace the person who was in that seat. She obviously has no morals.

Karma is a stupid idea in my opinion. One fat bitch steals an ipad then gets her face all over the internet, great. So therefore karma exists? What about the 1,000,000 other stolen ipads? What about the millions of people who fuck over the innocent all day long and never get caught? Oh, it’s coming to them you say. Bullshit. That’s as useless and unprovable a theory as “You’ll get your reward in heaven, and the bad guys will burn in hell”. Lame. What about the rapist who won the house raffle to benefit battered women? Criminals winning the lottery? Jews, Armenians, Ugandans, etc. slaughtered by the millions in cold blood by homicidal maniacs? You see GWB getting any “karma” for illegally invading Iraq, killing innocent people, and making his friends rich in the process (with your tax $$$)? I don’t. You see any “karma” for the fat cats on Wall Street who stole your economy and got rich doing it? I don’t. The world can be a cold, ruthless, unforgiving and unfair place much of the time. Sometimes bad people get caught and get what deserve, but most of the time they don’t, they just get away with it. There is no divine justice, there is no karma. What justice there should be requires effort, not wishful thinking. -

jessicak25 2 months agoMaybe he had insurance to cover the cost of the Ipod. Either way the person who stole it is wrong. It does not matter what sex they are, what color their skin is, what nationality or religion they are. Taking something that does not belong to you is stealing period. It is wrong. No amount of rationalization or childish sayings like “finders, keepers” justify taking something which does not belong to you. In reality you should be able to leave your doors unlocked and your belongings laying out without fear of having it stolen. Unfortunately it shows clearly in the responses to this article just how horrible some people truly are. And it is such a sad thing that people feel so entitled that they will take something which they did not earn just because they want it.
