2. The reclusive Watterson also appears in the film in his first-ever recorded interview. “In the right hands, a comic strip attains a beauty and an elegance that really I would put against any other art,” he said in the film’s trailer.

3. The movie, which was founded through Kickstarter, is available for preorder and will go on sale on April 2.
