The rodent - which tends to look like a mix between a bunny and a squirrel - seems to have become an increasingly popular choice for a house pet. The bad news is chinchillas poop a lot, but if you just pretend you're living with a reeeeally cute, furry old person who excretes pellets, you'll do just fine.
