BUZZ: 1. Canadian banks are strictly regulated, as opposed to American banks. 2. As for the American Dollar rebounding, it's only a short term thing. Don't get used to it. The American economy is fundamentally unsound, regardless of the current credit crisis. The complete absence of any savings, and the vast gap between the ultra-rich and the rest of the world is so great that the U.S. dollar, barring some significant re-alignment of its economy, is likely to go back down against both the Euro and the Canadian dollar.
