Adam Lambert Sings “Ring of Fire”
Last night, not-so-secret cross-dresser and American Idol contestant scared the sh*t out of America (or, at least, Randy Travis and I) with his bizarre, smug, cheesalicious desecration of Johnny Cash classic “Ring of Fire.” It seems inevitable that the musical theater vet will soar through the competition, but not without polarizing the audience in the same way he completely confused Randy Travis, who claimed Lambert “threw [him] for a loop…although he seems like a very nice guy.” (Southern gentlemanly translation: “…the f*ck?”)

YES! I MUCH prefer Johnny Cash's Twang twang toothless country hick version of Ring of Fire…so NOW and so current (haha)!!! Only an uneducated corpse would prefer ANYTHING by Randy Travis or Johnny Cash !!! Total has-beens to the 10th power!! LMFAO

I'm on the 'God damn that was hot' side.
'Ring of Fire' has always been a bit emo of a song, and Adam really knocked the hell out of it. Not everyones cuppa, but I certainly enjoyed it.

This is why I hate that pop culture has appropriated the word “trannie”. He is clearly NOT transgender. Was he born female and transitioned? No, he did not. He wore drag in a photo. Can we make it a rule that you can't use a word if you don't understand it?
