"Have a biscuit, Potter."

We recently asked members of the BuzzFeed Community to tell us which Harry Potter quote they wish had been included in the movies. Here are some of their best and most popular responses:

1. Harry Potter's secret nickname:

"This is your copy of Advanced Potion-Making, is it, Potter?"

"Yes," said Harry, still breathing hard.

"You're quite sure of that, are you, Potter?"

"Yes," said Harry, with a touch more defiance.

"This is the copy of Advanced Potion-Making that you purchased from Flourish and Blotts?"

"Yes," said Harry firmly.

"Then why," asked Snape, "does it have the name 'Roonil Wazlib' written inside the front cover?"

Harry's heart missed a beat. "That's my nickname," he said.

2. Fred and George's heir of Slytherin quips:

Fred and George, however, found all this very funny. They went out of their way to march ahead of Harry down the corridors, shouting, "Make way for the heir of Slytherin, seriously evil wizard coming through …"

Percy was deeply disapproving of this behaviour.

"It is not a laughing matter," he said coldly.

"Oh, get out of the way, Percy," said Fred, "Harry's in a hurry."

"Yeah, he's nipping off to the Chamber of Secrets for a cup of tea with his fanged servant," said George, chortling.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

6. Harry's surprisingly emotional goodbye to the Dursleys:

"Doesn't matter?" repeated Hestia, her voice rising ominously. "Don't these people realise what you've been through? What danger you are in? The unique position you hold in the hearts of the anti-Voldemort movement?"

"Er – no, they don't," said Harry. "They think I'm a waste of space, actually, but I'm used to –"

"I don't think you're a waste of space."

If Harry had not seen Dudley's lips move, he might not have believed it.

"No," Harry corrected him. "He must've always known you'd always want to come back."

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

"The house-elves, they'll all be down in the kitchen, won't they?"

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

12. ...and Hermione's ~passionate~ response:

"Is this the moment?" Harry asked weakly, and when nothing happened except that Ron and Hermione gripped each other still more firmly and swayed on the spot, he raised his voice. "OI! There's a war going on here!"

"He spat at you," said Harry.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

"I didn't want anyone to talk to me," said Harry, who was feeling more and more nettled.

"Well, that was a bit stupid of you," said Ginny angrily, "seeing as you don't know anyone but me who's been possessed by You-Know-Who, and I can tell you how it feels."

Harry remained quite still as the impact of these words hit him. Then he wheeled around.

"I forgot," he said.

"Lucky you," said Ginny coolly.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

"A five-year-old could have told us as much," sneered Snape. "The Inferius is a corpse that has been reanimated by a Dark wizard's spells. It is not alive, it is merely used like a puppet to do the wizard's bidding. A ghost, as I trust that you are all aware by now, is the imprint of a departed soul left upon the earth, and of course, as Potter so wisely tells us, transparent. "

"Well, what Harry said is the most useful if we're trying to tell them apart!" said Ron. "When we come face-to-face with one down a dark alley, we're going to be having a shufti to see if its solid, aren't we, we're not going to be asking, 'Excuse me, are you the imprint of a departed soul?'"

"You do care," said Dumbledore. He had not flinched or made a single move to stop Harry demolishing his office. His expression was calm, almost detached. "You care so much you feel as though you will bleed to death with the pain of it."
