Danielle Landerway is currently battling an extremely rare cancer called Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma that is very aggressive and resistant to chemotherapy. She also has Salivary Adenocarcinoma and Salivary Basaloid Adenocarcinoma. These three cancers have actually combined to form another rare phenomena, a hybrid tumor. This means every time a tumor spreads or recurs it contains all three cancers in every tumor. She has been battling this cancer on and off for 4 years now, and during that time has undergone multiple surgeries, multiple aggressive and physically difficult chemotherapies which caused blood clots in her lungs that almost killed her about a year ago. Through this all her cancer has resisted treatment and continued to spread, it is now present in her head, her brain, her lymph glands, her lungs and both breasts.
