Who Are The Richest "Game Of Thrones" Characters?

I don't know about you, but this is what my face has looked like since I finished Season 3 of Game of Thrones.

Even with the fourth season just around the corner, I just can't shake the GoT blues :(

But don't worry Sam, there's no need to cry. Freedom Finance, a company in the UK were so excited about Season 4 that they decided to work out which characters are the richest in Game of Thrones (accurate up until the end of Season 3). They created this.

But that's exactly why we love it.

There's some seriously juicy info in there. For example, they worked out how much one 'Unsullied' soldier would cost to buy in pound sterling.

According to A Song of Ice and Fire, 'three ships full of costly goods are enough to buy a thousand of Unsullied'. So, what did they do with this information? They only went and worked out what 'three ships full of costly goods' are worth, didn't they?

They also worked out Tywin Lannisters net worth based on the average cost of a UK cow or horse

It is mentioned in the books that one Gold Dragon (one of the coins used in Westeros) can buy a cow or a horse. So, they worked out how much a cow was worth and multiplied this by however many millions of Gold Dragons Tywin Lannister owns.

Owners of the most fertile area of Westeros, these guys earn some serious dough from being the main producers of food in the Westerlands. As such, they are certainly in the runnings for the richest family in Westeros.
