The Detroit Lions: Worst NFL Team Ever!

The Detroit Lions are the first team in NFL history to go 0-16. Lions coach Rod Marinelli says, “This is not fun to go through, obviously. But there's people going through a lot worse than this.” Doubt it! This is literally the worst thing someone can go through.

The Detroit Lions finished the season 0-16. They lost to Green Bay Sunday, 31-21. Detroit is the first winless NFL team since the expansion Bucaneers were 0-14 in 1976.

Yeah , the Bucs hold the record.
When the Tampa Bay Buccaneers franchise started in 1976 they went 0-26 from the 1976 and 1977 seasons. Their first season went 0-14 (as there was only 14 games to a season back then) and they went 0-12 their second season winning only their last two games, finishing their second season 2-12. Coincidentally, their first win was against the Saints in New Orleans and Hank Stram the coach was subsequently fired.
