drivebyfruiting 10 months agoBut if you think that was wrong, why are you using it to justify the booing at this event? Wouldn’t that imply you think this is equally wrong? Unless the “You lie” incident wasn’t an issue of respectfulness or decorum for you, but instead just about whether you thought he was correct about the president lying.

WhatTheHolyHeck 10 months agoI’m not using it to justify the behavior. Read my post. “IF” that is acceptable to republicans — and most who’ve commented online said they thought it was — then therefore a crowd that has applauded an individual point by a republican candidate is also entitled to boo a point they disagree with. I made the comparison to make the point that the latter is far more acceptable than the former. Good GOD, it’s like you’re trying to win points however you can, even if it means misreading and misinterpreting what anybody else says. Done here.
