Kris Andres 4 months agoIt has to do with how color affects our perception to food’s tastes. For instance, you would think spicy foods taste spicier if it’s redder than usual. The research also includes the following findings:
* Cream-colored cups also do well in hot chocolate, while red and white cups do the opposite.
* Brown cups make coffee seem stronger and more aromatic, while red cups would make it taste weak and yellow or blue cups would make it smoother.
* Desserts “taste sweeter” when placed on white plates, in contrast to black plates. I’ve read other articles about these findings and it’s sad that Buzzfeed does not include them here.
