I'm with Douglas. “Secular Christmas” is in itself an oxymoron. You can have a secular seasonal song, but if it has to do with a Christian holiday, it's not secular.

Merry Christmas from Chiron Beta Prime. On every corner there's a giant metal Santa Claus
who watches over us with glowing red eyes.
they carry weapons and they know if you've been bad or good.

#19 Odd movie moment. She sings Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and then the little sister goes out and immediately massacres a poor family of snowmen. WTF

Glad someone mentioned White Wine in the Sun, by Tim Minchin I am the biggest Scrooge in the world and that song makes me cry like a baby.

You would not think any one of these songs was any good at all if you had to work retail during the holdays.

Look, I knew she was an extremely sexy lady and that she played Catwoman back in the day, but learning that Santa Baby was sing by the woman who voiced Yzma pretty well blew my mind. Seriously, this is the craziest thing I've heard since I learned that the guy who invented the world's first artificial heart also played the voice of Tigger.

White Wine in the Sun, by Tim Minchin. Definitely the best recent Christmas song…
-
I'm not understanding how any song that contains “Christmas” or “Santa Claus” {literally Saint Claus} can be considered Secular since both are directly connected to the Christian holy day. Or are these “secular” because they don't have the word “Jesus” in them?

Jingle Bells isn't a Christmas song. Don't call it one. There are non-Christian people in the US too and I liked that song partially because it was one of the few winter songs that wasn't a Christmas song. Don't take it from us. Being non-Christian around Christmas is already bad enough. The song's also much better than a lot of the shitty niche-pandering songs on that list.

I feel like this song applies to a lot more people than those previously mentioned. It almost makes me want to cry how much I can relate.
