R.I.P. Mermaid Man: Ernest Borgnine Dead
The Internet will not forget you. At the age of 95, he gave way to kidney failure on July 8th, 2012.
On July 8th, Ernest Borgnine passed away at the age of 95 and the Internet desperately tried not to cry…like this.
And then we realized we’d never hear Mermaid Man declare “EVIL!” again and part of our childhood died and we started to tear up…like this.
And then we broke down and sobbed at both our loss and the reminder of our own fleeting mortality…like this.

And finally, we put on our stoic faces and the Mermaid Man Theme Song and made a montage to remember him by. RIP Ernest Borgnine.
