I remember seeing something like this on tv a long time ago. This one guy would punch a metal anvil something like 1,000 times a day. His knuckles looked like broccoli florets.

Is it just me or does it simply look like the guy has a problem with warts. Those don’t look like any callouses I’ve ever seen. Then again I haven’t see the hands of many people that have spent years punching things like wooden posts and such.

In all my (very little) experience in the martial arts, the first thing I was always told was “always strike with your top two knuckles.” (those belonging to the index and middle fingers). I may be wrong, mistaken, misinformed…but I think he’s doing it wrong.
