These photos, found by Retronaut, are from IMDB’s page on a movie called The Big Trail. Filmed in 1930, it was John Wayne’s first headlining role. He played a fur trapper bent on revenge for the murder of his partner and falls in love with a young Ruth (Marguerite Churchill) along the route to Oregon to catch the killers.
