adam y. a year agoSo Buzzfeed, when a girl takes a centimeter off of her nose or chin it’s fine to say “ew,” “fail,” “trashy,” “what the fuck,” “that’s horrible,” “she looks mannish,” “she looks deformed,” “she’s a fucking monster,” “her parents should be locked up,” “she’s an idiot,” “she makes me vomit,” “she’s fucked up,” and “she has a disorder” … but it’s intolerant to criticize Chastity Bono who wound up arguably even more unattractive after she not only had more dramatic superficial surgeries, but also tattooed her skin, had her genitals butchered and reconstructed, changed her name, had herself injected with hormones, put on weight, grew a beard, and now parades her self-mutilation around as if it’s something to be proud of. The hypocrisies and contradictions of the liberal mind will forever baffle me.
