The creators said that they made many universes for their characters. In one universe Peter Parker dies, and in another he still lives. So don't worry their still making more stories about Peter P.

PETER PARKER ISN'T DEAD! This is only one of many story lines “spiderman” is in. In another series you might be suprised that *gasp* HE'S also a ZOMBIE!

What's really funny that in #7 as the guy's talking about a black Iron Man - they did that already. Like, in the 80's. James Rhodes took over the title for a pretty long period of time, and still has a successful spin-off as War Machine. /nitpick

Some of these people are saying that diversity for the sake of diversity is stupid and they don't give a fuck either way if he's black or not. I don't know where everyone got that he would be gay but that was never announced. Someone's just trying to drum up controversy.
