I highly doubt any of them has ever read any author, or at least an excerpt from “Simone de Beauvoir” for example, or attended any class on the subject. First of all, there is not ONE Feminism in the sense that there is ONE author with ONE set of ideals that every feminist follow. Just fucking read the first sentence of Wikipedia. But if we are talking that about “feminism” as a movement in general or as a theory, it is really stupid what these women are saying.
I’m a man, I would like to consider myself a feminist but I’m not sure I’m educated enough, have read enough or have engaged enough, but I do like and approve and sympathize with their simple basic idea. Who that is not a crappy human being wouldn’t ? And feminism as a teory is nowadays really much more than just what people thinks (only women fighting for their rights), it has contributed so much to a bunch of areas of social knowledge and research (Psychology is one of them, and where I have got a little bit of education about it). You may not agree with one feminist (or feminist author) at the topic of “abortion” for example. THAT IS OK. There probably are a bunch of other important feminists authors who doesn’t either. That doesn’t mean: feminism is bad, and is going the wrong way and let’s talk shit about something i don’t have the first clue about. As long as I’m doing OK by my own, who care about the other, am I right?  If you’re a women and are doing OK now, you have to thank a bunch of past feminists for even having that possibility. That is why this post is so preposterous.
