For the first 56 seconds, I just thought the guy was going to do geisha make-up.
And, then, no. I usually don’t like performance art (not all, but it tends to lend itself to that exclusive attitude that you’re just stupid if you don’t like it or “get it”), but this was actually pretty interesting. I’m amazed he did it all blind, to be honest. And, now, bath time!

I thought this was a great piece of performance art. My only question is, “Does this guy do children’s birthday parties?”

I’m guessing that it is either supposed to be a metaphor for polluting earth, or girls wearing too much makeup.

This is the culmination of four years of art school.

yeah. whole time screaming Pan’s Labyrinth to me interesting for a bit, then i realize that the guy is coked up, performing his rendition of 1 guy several cups of clay ‘n’ paint. i must not fully understand/appreciate art. sigh.

I love performance art. I took Performance art 1-3 when I was in college. And I know people don’t always “get it”. *I * don’t always get it. But I have never looked at life quite the same the same way since. I recommend anyone who studies art in college to take it if it’s offered. You use things you never thought you would use, and do things you never thought you would do.

Um, wow. I’ve had a hard time describing some of my more freakish nightmares but that was pretty much what they are like. Reminds me of Pan’s Labyrinth at times.
