God forbid, if her son lives abroad, this mother will have an intimate relationship with her phone till he's away. From no internet skills whatsoever to TECH SAVVY - she'll be on a roll.

No matter how old her son is, she will always have a 'life changing advice' (or so she believes) for him because apparently, most mothers in India feel that only their sons listen to them, daughters ARGUE. Her love for her son is more of an obsession, she can't give it away, which means VERY HARD TIMES to come for the would-be "bahu" (Read: Daughter-in-law).

It's HER against the world for her son. This gem of an Indian mother would make sure her son doesn't have to go through sh*t in this difficult world. He failed in his exams? She hides (or at least tries hiding) it from his father, just to spare him the scolding or beating for that matter. She truly believes in 'second or endless chances' in life, only for her "jigar da tukda" (Read: A piece of her heart).

She can laugh AND cry all day long, only if her son is around. Is it even possible for a human to find every word that a person says amusing? Yes it is, if it's her. It's really embarrassing sometimes when you meet a guy friend's mother because it's like shouting in your head "Laugh buddy laugh or she'll find you and she'll kill you."

Don't think there aren't cool moms in India, there are thousands of them. But sadly, there's still no way they'll ever like their sons' partners. It's an unsolvable, unbeatable mystery.
