Why this is actually interesting is because you can go to this guy's Youtube channel and see all 1000 uploads of his video. What you're left with is a clinic on how quickly digital media can turn to digital sludge, which wouldn't be interesting except for the fact that we're increasingly trying to compress and recompress our media. This is clearly not the same video as Upload #1. How many times do you have to reupload “The Wizard of Oz” before it's not the same work any more? What if you were to download “Avatar” after 1001 reuploads? Have you committed piracy? What if it were possible to restore it to it's original quality? What then? From an art perspective, this is bleh, from a digital media perspective, it's pretty thought-provoking.
