A native of Nottingham England I trained as an accountant and as a computer programmer. Making a career of computing I working in Birmingham, London, and eventually Manchester. I experienced success in motor rallying by being the winning co-driver in Group 1 on two occasions, and filled the rest of my spare time with the renovation of our old house. I became bored, so set out on a search for more meaning to life, and was fortunate to find it in the foothills of the Himalayas. I now live in Laos where I edit Sunday Family Humour and write on self-actualization, and self-empowerment of mind, body and spirit.

    For most people, ignoring nutrition would not be a problem - they seem to do it all the time. 'Rest of your life' will of course last much longer of you seriously consider nutrition with each chew or suck. What is the point of putting anything in the body unless it is nutritious,…
