Monday! Wakin' up, feeling alright
Checkin' yourself out in the mirror...Today is going to be awesome.
When suddenly you realize...the intern starts today
You try and compose yourself, but when you get to the office, there he is...
Naturally, as a lower-ranking employee, it's your job to "show 'em the ropes"
But before you can even show them the office kitchen, the questions begin...and they don't stop.
And once the questions end...they start telling you their life aspirations. How they plan to earn 150k at their first job and win nobel prizes and every award under the sun and you're just standing there making coffee being like
And then they ask you your life goals...which are more along the lines of
You finally get to sit down, but can't help but over hear them spill all of their accomplishments they have made and all the knowledge that they have gathered within their 21 years of life.
And every song that comes on in the office they some how know
You're just about to lose it when...The intern get his first assignment. Isn't that adorable?
Yet, within the next five minutes you want to punch them in the face because of their overly-excited confidence
Assignment complete!
And received not-that-great reviews by the bossman (not everyone gets it right the first time)
So close though!
Enter intern rejection, phase 1: Shock (welcome to the real world)
Phase 2: Denial
Phase 3: Acceptance
Finally, after all that, 5 pm has arrived for all! Let's go home, intern!
Tomorrow is another day! You'll get there eventually.
