These dress codes are ridiculous. The administrators would probably shit their pants if they saw what we were wearing to school when I was there. (2000-2004 - check the latest Buzzfeed articles if you need to see what that looked like.) And you know what? Not a single person failed due to distracting shoulders, midriffs, or thongs. Styles were experimented with, kids went to class (or ditched), and pretty much behaved EXACTLY as they otherwise would’ve. Thanks to Britney Spears, my hip bones didn’t know what it was like to be covered for 4 goddamn years, and the tragic end to that story is that I graduated, went to college, got a job in my field, and a 401(k). So glad the dress code was there to save me…
Response to Rory Williams Has Pretty Much Graduated From Companion To Doctor On “Legends Of Tomorrow”:
Rip Hunter’s character was created in 1959, and his first series ran 1961-1965. Doctor Who first aired in 1963. Plus I’ll let you in on a secret: comics, tv, movies - they all steal from each other.
