Something that (it turns out, after some careful consideration), mommy is not. Adorable :-)
My niece took up the whole passive aggressive notes thing as soon as she learned to write. When she was about 4, my sister found that she had written “NOT LUF MUM” all over the blackboard because she couldn’t figure out how to spell “HATE”. She was distraught about writing it, too… it’s amazing how powerful those words are, especially when you see them written. Now (2 years later) she writes messages and notes for eeeeverything… I love it. :)
Setup:
My 3.75 year old daughter wanted her unavailable mom and was crying. I said “what am I… chopped liver?” at which point, crying stopped. “What’s chopped liver?” she asked. I then had to explain chopped liver in relation to, say, steak using my hands. This showed up a couple hours later and is my absolute favorite piece of writing ever…
reminds me of the sign i made when i was a kid…it said, “MOMMY IS A PISSER!” yeah, i was really mad…lol…
