I don’t think so. It only appears asaquote on sites bashing Jones with no documentation to confirm that Jones was actually responsible for the statement. Regardless, it would still beafallacy to use the claim, even if false and ridiculous, to discount another, wholly unrelated argument. Only information that discounts the premises of the argument at hand is valid in disputing said argument. Otherwise, you are merely discrediting the source of the argument not the argument itself.
