1. You're at the cash machine on Friday evening and you see your account balance.
2. The friends in your What'sApp group say that they just want a "quiet" weekend.
3. Your evening starts so classily.
4. Then it's time for your your favourite tipple, a gin and tonic.
5. Soon, there have been too many G&Ts, and the loving relationship with the drink quickly turns sour.
6. You decide to do your Miley Cyrus "Wrecking Ball" party piece during karaoke.
7. Someone cuts in front of you at the bar.
8. This means you're especially riled up when someone skips the queue ahead of you at a nightclub.
9. A hottie in the club winks at you.
10. In your own drunken head, this is how your seductive face looks.
11. To everyone else, however, it's like this.
12. You decide to finally speak to that person you fancy.
13. You ask your wing-man if your chat-up approach was the right one.
14. You get a snog, but later you learn the guy has been spreading lip-love among others in the club too.
15. The night's a bust, so you order an Uber, but it all goes very wrong very fast.
16. You grab the night bus instead, where you get into an animated discussion/argument with a stranger.
17. At home, you log onto Tinder/Grindr and invite someone round.
18. Things get weird real quick.
19. Really weird.
20. You feel disgusted with yourself afterwards.
21. To make matters worse, that guy who seemed so hot last night looks decidedly different in the morning.
22. As bad as you feel, you discover your roommate is in an even worse state, so it's your job to nurse them.
23. You smugly think you feel fine when you wake up, but really, you're still drunk, and NOW is the moment the hangover finally hits.
24. And at that moment, all you want is cake and a good cry.
25. It's then that you decide to forego any more drama, and spend the rest of the weekend in bed watching Netflix.
All in all, a solid weekend, right?
