Tower Bridge Gets A Glass Walkway And It's Both Amazing And Terrifying

For every "wow!", there will be an equal and opposite "nope!"

    So you know Tower Bridge?

Well, it has just opened a new glass floor walkway, offering visitors a view of London from 42m (138ft) up.

The new floor measures 11 metres long and 1.8 metres wide, and is made of panels weighing 530 kilograms each. So, y'know, it's pretty sturdy.

So far, it's just the west walkway that's open to visit, with the east glass walkway coming on 1 December.

Look at 'em. They're all so tiny.

You can watch Tower Bridge in action.

And everyday London life happening below.

Still, it probably won't be for those with an aversion to heights.
