Response to The BuzzFeed Body Image Survey 2014:
This breaks my heart, because I used to feel this way about myself (I was in the hospital and didn’t eat food for half a month). “Finally, I’m thin enough.” I almost died, and that’s what I was concerned about. Love yourself. Love yourself for the fact that you are STRONG enough to get through those hard times you mentioned. Love your body because, even in those hard times, it keeps going. You only get one; and it’s done so much for you. We have enough to worry about in this world - be your own ally. We have an undefined and finite amount of time here…should we spend it holding ourselves back because we have some bumps and bruises? Or should we live it to the fullest? Think about how awesome this world would be if we all represented more of our actual selves (not what a, handful of others have told us we should represent so they can make money on our insecurities). That is my hope for you and all off us.
Get back to me when you have an ending to this story. Otherwise it’s not a story.
Response to So Kim Kardashian Is Now Doing Waist Training:
You’re delusional. Big hips are just…yummy.
Ummm, while there are tall and slim 19-year-olds, your perception of what is average isn’t consistent with the national average. Just because YOU have seen “plenty of tall and slim 19-year-olds,” doesn’t mean the national average is that way. He LITERALLY took the data from the CDC…which encompasses the entire country.
