This Is The Incredible Moment A Church Is Struck By Lightning

Junior firefighter Carl Bouley has captured the moment a ‎lightning‬ bolt struck the St Gerard-Mount Carmel Parish in Grand Isle, Maine.

The video was recorded on Wednesday evening at around 6pm from Bouley's front porch.

This is not the first time the church has been hit and Bouley told the Portland Press Herald that he had a feeling it was going to happen again. “Everything felt the same, the wind, the atmosphere”, he said.

The church was struck by lightning on August 4, 2007.

According to Bouley the only damage recorded was to the church's electrical system.
