A recent Facebook post by Everest Wilhemsen advocating the authority to shoot the President has thus far been ignored by Facebook's terms of service reviewers. As seen in this post , which may have subsequently been taken down, states quite clearly that he believes that the 2nd Amendment gives him and his fellow tea bagging cronies on the linked page Christian American Patriots Militia the right to shoot the President for reasons they feel justified. When many horrified people who saw this post began linking the page on their own pages and reported it to Facebook, they kept getting the response that it did not feel it was warranted to do anything about it.
This happened many times with many different concerned folks. This was also reported to the FBI on their online tip form.
Is this the week to really ignore a threat to the President?
