    Because they had already given their credit card information on the phone, so I guess they figured “He’s here now and we’re starving; we’ll sort out the complaint later”. It’s an abuse of people who have no other option in that moment.  One of the guys *did* refuse to pay and called his credit card company so that the charge wouldn’t go through (Julie H’s brother). But when it’s late and people have already kept you waiting for 2 hours for food and you have no other options, you just take the food.  (I get really low blood sugar levels, and I know that I’d be extremely upset in that situation but my priority would be to eat something before I could even think straight)
