Well PETA is morally opposed to any domesticated animal including pets - they believe them to be some sort of aberration from nature or some wishy washy thing like that.

More the world can't understand why so many American's so passionately hate Obama - to the rest of the world he is… well he is a charasimatic intelligent and thoughtful man who puts forward a very positive message of America to the world. The antithesis of G.W. Bush. Most people in the world sleep easier with Obama in power than when Bush was - and most people are concerned about the his potential opponents beating him in the next election. Don't get me wrong, there may or may not be reasons to dislike him on a national scale - but it is the hate that confuses us.
