Chelsea sucked at that interview. She never challenged him with follow up questions. Rick can believe that angels lose their wings every time a gay couple gets married. But when you use your CHOSEN religious beliefs to foster discrimination aimed at gay Americans, you’re going to get called out on it. You don’t have to be religious to get married in our country… so ANY religious arguments against marriage equality are invalid. As for “redefining marriage”, that’s a lie. Rick’s marriage hasn’t been redefined even though 18,000 gay couples are married in California. The definition of opposite-sex marriage is still one man and one woman, regardless if gay couples can marry or not. Perhaps Rick is worried that if gay marriage is available to everyone, he’ll be tempted to marry a man?
