The most shocking thing I was told about Paris was that every weekend about 20-30 cars are burned by mobs in and around Paris.

The people in Paris are ok, borderline rude at times. It’s a big city so that’s how it goes.  The french outside of Paris are mostly nice. Go up to Normandy and you’ll forget about the people in Paris. The older people fm the WWII generation there are the sweetest. I have a parisian friend and I think he would find this funny. In retort to the obnoxious american responses. It’s very easy to spot americans in Europe. It’s not about attitude it’s about dress and them just not knowing. I live in Vegas and can spot a European a mile away and they don’t have to say a word. They do the samething here, they just don’t know how we do some of the little things.  Like how americans never, ever wear socks much less black socks with sandals.

Dear Americans, if it may reassure you, your compulsive hatred of us is far from being reciprocated… seriously, why are you so obsessed with our harmless, weak, and decadent little country?

French people, American people, lalala, we’re all rude. We’re all nice. Just depends when you went, what was going on, who you met. My mom’s maternal side is French and they’re pretty rude.

Americans abroad need to quit being such dicks. I lived in the UK for awhile and was quite embarrassed that when I went to the rest of Europe, when someone was American it was clearly evident. Loud and obnoxious and rude. No respect to local customs.  For those of you who are nice abroad, thank you :)

French people are nice. Have you even been there?

I’m Canadian, and even I found French hospitality to be great, so I have no idea where you’re coming from.

Hi Dave, if one day you shut down your computer, you should travel to Paris and see how fine we’ll received you even you post stupid (and so racist) graphic about us.

Actually, French people are extremely nice and extremely helpful if you don’t act like an idiot. I never had a problem there.

The Frenchmen were nice, flirtatious to be sure, but nice. Nicer than most American men for sure.
