That’s nuts if you pay that much for water. It’s probably just tap water that someone spit in but they tell you it’s this fancy clean water & laugh as people drink it.

I like a sparking water now and then but those prices are beyond excessive. Shit, as long as there’s no bugs, hair, dust or bodily secretions in the water you serve me, Im good with whatever comes out of a tap

I just moved to Paris. Badoit is NOT a gourmet water - it’s sold in every single cheap-ass grocery store, and costs about the same as no-brand/store-brand water. What a scam.

I’m afraid I don’t see the issue, but then, I don’t like drinking water saturated in germs and prescription pills. I mean, tap water. Ahem.

I’ll have Wasser des Taps, it sounds exotic.

Eh, not too surprised. I found out there are such things as “milk connoisseurs” earlier this year.

This had been the premise of a Penn & Teller Bullshit episode. They just filled various bottles with water from a garden hose, and the customers at the restaurant acted as though there were substantial differences in the various brands’ taste.
