Good for him. Great to defend yourself. I still think he should've fucked up that other kid who stepped up to him at the end. I hope that joins (or is recruited by a coach) for sports. That's a strong kid.

i like this kid b/c it seems like he's pretty smart. and (maybe it b/c of what happened) he's very confident. hopefully there will be a lot of success in his future and this incident won't have any adverse effects. as far as the instigator, i hope he has some sort of damage to serve as a reminder. u never escape the consequences of your actions.

What a nice, bright, articulate kid. I hope his dad reaches out to him more. It goes to show how insulated so many kids are that didn't occur to Casey to talk to his dad about how bad it was. Good that he has his sister though.

That's how you deal with a terrorist. If you've ever been bullied then you know that terrorist is an accurate description.
This kid was terrorized on a daily basis for 3 years and the school system didn't step in to help him. What other option did he have? Good for him!!!

Honestly, the fact that this kid didn't retaliate against his entire school is amazing to me- because this has gone on forever, and we have plenty of examples where the kids did snap, and did hurt others who were not involved. It speaks volumes of the goodness of his heart.
The most unfortunate thing about this is a) it took him this long to feel safe and accepted at an age where he should be receiving that from the world and b) this is still happening to children everywhere.

I remember back in Elementary school, me and my friends sorta 'formed' a team to defend this poor Indian kid that was bullied by a group of guys. It never escalated into a full blown fight or anything but I always look back at it and feel proud of what we did for him. All you simply need is peer support to fight bullies.
