Bold, New Breast Cancer Awareness Ad

Dariana 8 months agoThis is how breast cancer should be addressed. Despite its—as aforementioned—‘puritanical’ values, America hyper-sexualises its breast cancer awareness campaign. ‘Save the tatas’ tells and teaches us nothing. These general awareness campaigns are useless on something like cancer—we all know it EXISTS, but we rarely discuss signs and symptoms, which this ad addresses brilliantly. Also, my aunt has had breast cancer and my mother has had colon cancer. I am ESPECIALLY grateful for campaigns such as this, which may have helped them catch it sooner. <3
